Karlie Hudson graduated from Campbell University School of Law, magna cum laude. Prior to law school, she also attended Campbell University for undergraduate studies where she received a bachelor’s degree in Government and minors in Spanish and History. Karlie was a member of Campbell’s varsity softball team and was named the university’s Most Outstanding Female Athlete in 2009. After graduating, she spent four years teaching in Sampson County Public Schools before returning to Campbell for law school. During law school Karlie was an editor on the Campbell Law Review and a member of the moot court team. She was named Best Advocate in the Richard A. Lord Moot Court Competition and one of the top-ten advocates in the American Bar Association Regional Moot Court Competition in Washington, D.C. Karlie was also inducted into the Order of the Barristers, a national organization recognizing outstanding achievement in oral advocacy. After graduating from law school, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Robert N. Hunter, Jr. on the North Carolina Court of Appeals. At Daughtry, Woodard, Lawrence, & Starling Karlie focuses her practice on civil litigation, business law, and commercial contracts.
